I want to hold a tryout and I have
not yet registered. What must I do?
The facility you will be using
will require ASA insurance. You must complete the "Additional
Insured Form" prior to use so ASA can issue a field
owners policy.
As
per the ASA insurance carrier, the participants will only
be covered if:
1)
This office is informed of tryout dates and locations
2) You have all players and parents sign-in at tryouts
3) You provide the GFP-A Travel Director a seven player
deposit ($210)
before your
tryout begins
Should a player
become injured at tryouts, she will be registered ASA and
covered by insurance.
Your deposit
will be applied towards your registration fees.

2) Have some type of local
agreement signed by every player and parent. Include the
requirements for release i.e... fees paid, non-refundable fees, uniforms return requirements,
equipment return requirements, etc... (don't get ridiculous, that
may help their appeal process)
